Creating persuasive proposals to engage buyers

Submitting a proposal is a stage in the buying cycle, and for many industries it’s one that can’t be overlooked, so it’s crucial to get it right. It’s also important to bear in mind that your proposal is a sales document, not a technical document. While it may contain the nuts and bolts details of your solution, it’s main purpose is to share a compelling marketing message and engage executive buy-in for your project. It needs to persuade the reader that your solution is the best fit and that you understand their needs. If the document is being used in a tender process, it must stand out from other documents – so design and layout is important too.
